and to challenge them to "walk as Jesus walked." [I John 2:6]

CORE VALUES

·        To receive all people in love. The Oak Avenue Church is to be a safe place to seek the Lord.
To be a Christian you must have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The Bible is the center of all
preaching and teaching in the church.

·        A cross-generational Church. It is important to worship and grow together. [Psalm 145:4]
Worship services will be seeker sensitive, but will not compromise the Christian tradition of worship.

·        The church incorporates traditional and contemporary styles of
worship.

·        The Holy Spirit, and not the law, changes people lives.

Prayer and a personal walk in the presence of Christ are
central to our lives as believers.
